4th day

  • One cannot say that has really seen Paris, if he hasn't visited the magestic Pantheon. It's not only the magic of the building with its impressive architecture which attracts the visitors, but also the fact that the most famous French are burried here.
  • Continue your day by visiting the neighbourhood St Germain de Pres and the church of St Germain de Pres. It is a vivid neighbourhood with lots of shops and bistros, where you can relax and have coffee.
  • La Sorbonne: situated in the heart of the Quartier Latin (named after the fact that all students in Sorbonne used to speak latin during the middle ages) , represents one of the most famous universities in Europe. If you are student, it's the best way to see what student life in Paris means.
  • St Sulpice: one of the most atmosferic churches in central Paris, located between St Germain de Pres and Montparnasse district. This church is really huge and deserves a visit.
  • Montparnasse district: regarded as the most artistic neighbourhood in Paris, is the location where many theatres can be found and most artists prefer to enjoy their coffee or have lunch. Near the Gare Montparnasse, you can see the Tour Montparnasse which is really too high... There are many parisians who tend to believe that the view from up there is really better than the view from the Eiffel Tower. What do you think? If you have time, it's worth a visit!

5th day

The fifth day has the aim to prove that Paris is really the city which has the potential to satisfy everybody, indifferently of his personal preferences.

  • If you are a shopping maniac, or just a person who'd like to see what shopping in Paris really means, you can visit the huge Galeries Lafayette department store (near it you can also find the Opera Garnier) with virtually all kinds of goods to satisfy everyone or simply stroll at the rue de Rivoli and the grand boulevards de Paris. Another option is to visit the Forum des Halles shopping centre located where once the Parisian food market was.

Another option is the Picasso or Rodin or Dali Museum or the Beaubourg with its modern artwork. You can also visit Victor Hugo's House near place de Vosges.
  • La Defence, the biggest purpose built European business area is a short ride with the metro and the famous Arche worths a visit.
  • If you have children, there are various options for a family Parisian experience. The impressive Egouts, provide a different view of Paris, and the Parc Zoologique de Paris is a good outlet for children.
